1 Corinthians 8:11-12
And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died? But when you thus sin against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, you sin against Christ.
Knowing that we are saved and have been covered by the righteousness of Jesus should most definitely translate into our daily interactions with others. Our actions should be motivated by love. Romans 14:15 says if your brother is grieved because of your food, you are no longer walking in love. This love should cause us to be mindful of our brothers' and sisters' weaknesses and should help us restrain from anything that would cause them to falter.
Lord, help us set aside pride, selfishness, arrogance, or any negative attitude that would cause us to offend a brother or sister in Christ. Let us unite in Your name and be a people of encouragement. Help us to be motivated in love. We thank You for loving us so much that You died in our place!
Amen!

Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)
The Congo Team writes: "On August 16 through September 3, two groups of Congolese partners will be traveling outside of the capital city of Kinshasa to lead orality trainings. One group will be in Moanda and the other in Lumbumbashi. Please intercede for them, as they will be leading Tell His Story evangelism trainings in new places and doing follow-up in the places that have already had the trainings. One of their objectives will be to identify faithful participants who can assist in subsequent trainings and then lead trainings on their own when the team from Kinshasa leaves."

“I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counselors as at the beginning. Afterward you shall be called the city of righteousness, the faithful city.” Isaiah 1:26
It is always important to pray for our courts and our nation’s judges, but never has it been more important to do so than today. At this time, as we are praying for a pro-life ruling to come down from the Supreme Court, we should remember and ask God for the promises of Isaiah 1:26.
In Jesus’ name, we lift Chief Justice John Roberts up to you, Father. Use him to defend the unborn and restore life to our nation. Let all his decisions be fair and not influenced by any unholy or personal preferences. Let him rule in every decision as You desire him to rule. We ask for protection for him, all the Justices and their families from those who side with evil intent through intimidation and protests. Restore the judges as at first, Lord, according to Your Word. We give you all glory and praise, Amen.
