Ken Forrester Bio

Ken serves as the Senior Pastor of Poplar Springs Baptist Church in Moore, SC.  He also serves as the Director of Church Development and Pastoral Care for the South Carolina Baptist Convention.  Ken was saved on June 11, 1978 and was called to the ministry at age 18. He is now celebrating 41 years of ministry. Ken’s been married to his wife, Pat, for 38 years. They have eight children…..Seth, Stephen, Sarah, Silas, Samuel, Simeon, Shaun and Susanna.  Ken and Pat have nine grandchildren and one on the way.  Ken has pastored at Forestville Baptist Church in Travelers Rest and Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Greenville.  Ken has also served as a youth pastor.  Ken’s leadership and commitment to fostering spiritual growth have made a lasting impact on the congregations he has served.
